12 Foot Davis Gravesite lookout

Overlooking the confluence of the Peace, Heart and Smoky Rivers is the gravesite of 12 Foot Davis, a colorful character from Peace River's past. The rivers dominate the landscape here and are a primary source of recreation for the area. The area just upriver from the town site was known as "The Forks" by early explorers and fur traders, and "Sagitawa" (Meeting of the Waters) by the Beaver Aboriginal nation.
